on the miscellaneous side of things

During my stay in Randy’s brand new robotics lab in Indiana, I took part in various more miscellaneous activities, if you will.
[1] the dynamic systems and robotics discussion group: a group of between 5-7 of us discussing papers of interest Wednesday nights. We managed to do about 6 meetings while I was here. Among the topics for discussion that I can recall where: (i) adaptive resonance theory, (ii) dynamic field theory, (iii) evolutionary robotics, (iv) and (v) . I hope to expand on the comments of interest that were raised sometime soon.

[2] Joined a workshop in cognitive science curriculum

[3] Helped out in the setting up of the robotics subsection as part of the cognitive science program stand in the welcoming exposition to the freshmen.
